Third-party and open-source notices
Published by Darwich Technologies LLC for StitchoMR (macOS 15 or later, Apple silicon; PES and DST export).
These notices describe the components found in the StitchoMR application bundle for macOS, version 0.9.8. The component list was prepared on 2026-10-30 from the contents of the application bundle. They apply to the application bundle of the version you hold.
StitchoMR is proprietary software published by Darwich Technologies LLC (https://darwichglobal.com). StitchoMR's own code, artwork and licence-check logic are not open source. StitchoMR includes and links to open-source and third-party components. Each of those components remains under its own licence, and nothing in the StitchoMR End User License Agreement limits the rights those licences give you.
Where the licence texts are. The full licence text for each component is in the application, in the folder Contents/Resources/third_party_licenses inside the StitchoMR application bundle (the sub-folder licenses/ holds the main texts, and each Python package keeps its own licence files). This page lists the components, their licences and where their notices are. It does not itself reproduce the licence texts.

1. Qt and PySide6 (LGPL-3.0)
StitchoMR uses the Qt toolkit (version 6.11.2: QtCore, QtGui, QtWidgets, QtSvg, QtNetwork, QtDBus, QtTest and their plugins), PySide6 6.11.2 (Qt for Python bindings) and Shiboken6 6.11.2 under the terms of the GNU Lesser General Public License version 3 (LGPL-3.0). Qt, PySide6 and Shiboken6 are copyright (C) The Qt Company Ltd. and other contributors. Qt is also available from The Qt Company under other (GPL and commercial) licences; StitchoMR uses the LGPL-3.0 option. These libraries are used unmodified, as dynamically loaded frameworks and shared libraries that are separate files inside the StitchoMR application bundle.

- You may modify these libraries and run StitchoMR with your modified versions. Instructions: replacing the libraries.
- StitchoMR's licence terms do not restrict modification of these libraries for your own use, or reverse engineering of StitchoMR as needed to debug such modifications (see the End User License Agreement presented with the application).
Qt includes third-party code under other licences (FreeType, HarfBuzz, libpng, libjpeg-turbo, PCRE2, double-conversion, libtiff, libwebp, Unicode data and others). Their notices are in licenses/qt-third-party/, with the version and copyright table in licenses/qt-third-party/QT-6.11.2-THIRDPARTY-ATTRIBUTION-EXTRACT.txt.
2. GEOS (LGPL-2.1)
Shapely's geometry engine, GEOS 3.14.1 (libgeos, libgeos_c), is used under the GNU Lesser General Public License version 2.1. Copyright (C) Refractions Research Inc., Vivid Solutions Inc., Sandro Santilli, Paul Ramsey and other GEOS contributors. It is a separate dynamic library file in the application bundle and may be replaced (see replacing the libraries). Licence: licenses/LGPL-2.1.txt, licenses/GEOS-COPYING.txt. Source: source code for the LGPL libraries. GEOS includes Ryu (Copyright 2018 Ulf Adams), under Apache-2.0 or the Boost Software Licence (licenses/Apache-2.0.txt, licenses/components/GEOS-bundled-ryu-LICENSE-Boost.txt).
3. Python runtime and the packaging tool

The Python modules of the packages above, PySide6/Shiboken6 and the Python standard library are compiled into the application's executable archive. Apache-2.0 text: licenses/Apache-2.0.txt. The Apache-2.0 components are redistributed without modification by StitchoMR.
5. Face-detector model
resources/face-detector.xml is the OpenCV frontal-face Haar cascade (haarcascade_frontalface_default.xml), created by Rainer Lienhart, Copyright (C) 2000 Intel Corporation, all rights reserved, redistributed unmodified under the Intel License Agreement for Open Source Computer Vision Library (BSD-style). The licence conditions are reproduced in licenses/components/OpenCV-haarcascade-frontalface-Intel-License.txt and in the file header. The name of Intel Corporation is not used to endorse or promote StitchoMR. THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" as stated in that licence.
6. Artwork
- Country and territory flags in the design library are from flag-icons (https://github.com/lipis/flag-icons), MIT licence, Copyright (c) 2013 Panayiotis Lipiridis (
licenses/components/flag-icons-LICENSE.txt). - The StitchoMR design library, icons, themes and brand artwork are original StitchoMR content and are not open source.
- StitchoMR bundles no font files.
7. System components
StitchoMR uses Apple system frameworks and libraries present in macOS (for example CoreFoundation, AppKit, libz, libffi, libedit, ncurses, Accelerate). They are not redistributed in the application and are used under Apple's terms.
8. Licence index
The licence texts shipped in the application bundle are: GNU LGPL-3.0, GPL-3.0, LGPL-2.1 and GPL-2.0 (from gnu.org); Apache-2.0 (from apache.org); Mozilla Public License 2.0 (included because Qt's third-party list contains MPL-2.0 data); the Python Software Foundation licence (from CPython 3.12.14); the GEOS COPYING file (from geos 3.14.1); component licence files copied from each package's own dist-info; and Qt third-party texts copied from the Qt 6.11.2 sources (licenses/qt-third-party/).
NO WARRANTY: open-source components are provided under their respective licences, which disclaim warranties as stated in those licences.
